Well, Murder in March was so much fun, we are already thinking about holding it again next year with even more authors, prizes, games and fun to be had. But before we get ahead of ourselves, we have the winners to post about!

Murder in March

Our participating authors were extremely generous with donating prizes, so we have a lot of winners to announce!

Murder in March

Today we are celebrating not only day 3 of advent, but we are also celebrating Nicolette Mace: the Raven Siren’s 5th birthday! Yes, it’s been 5 years since we started out and first released The Kevin Metis Saga upon the world – erm, we mean to the world – clearly.

So to celebrate, we’re giving away six beta posters of the Siren poster series. These have been developed for the UK Indie Lit Fest 2015 (being held on 23rd July 2015 in Bradford, UK – C.S. Woolley is one of the authors) and the beta posters are the test prints that have been done in preparation. They are unique, signed and come with an authenticity label too!

To enter to win one of the six posters, simply comment below or comment on C.S. Woolley’s facebook post about contest!

Winners will be drawn at random on Christmas Eve.

As we continue with our Advent celebrations, day 2 is marked by a combination of a sale and a competition!

Yes, we love to give things away here at Mightier Than the Sword UK and, as it is the festive season, we have pulled out all the stops for day 2 (not sure what we’ll have left on day 3, but we’ll find out tomorrow!)

Through our Etsy store we have created The C.S. Woolley Bundle, a collection of 13 of her books that is on sale for just £7! ($10.50ish if you are in the USA) That’s less than 75p per book! (less than $1 per book)

But we thought that it wasn’t quite enough to make a bundle of books and have them on sale between now and the start of Christmas Day, so we have thrown in a little extra.

For every 50 bundles sold we are going to give away a 7″ Kindle Fire Tablet!

Every purchase made will automatically enter you into the giveaway, so once you’ve bought your bundle, all you have to do is sit back and wait to find out if you’ve won! Winners will be contacted via etsy once the draws have been completed. Winners will be drawn at random.

With only three more days to go until Christmas we are all celebrating our last day in the office until we get an emergency call saying the pipes have broken or until 29th December – whichever comes first. (our money is on the pipes breaking on Christmas Day).

We’ve been busy setting up lots of things to keep people entertained over the Christmas break including a discount on Shroud of Darkness! If you got to Smashwords and add Shroud of Darkness to your basket and at the checkout enter the code LV29T you’ll get the book for FREE! You can also get Rising Empire: Part 1 for free from Smashwords too.

Our web gremlins have been hard at work to bring you some all new pages for the Chronicles of Celadmore section that include the different festivals that the peoples of Celadmore have celebrated throughout history. We’ve timed it so that these pages will go live on Christmas Day and give a little bit more depth and history to the realm.

Keep your eyes on tumblr as well as the Nicolette Mace: the Raven Siren page is going to be full of exclusive photos from behind the scenes of the rehearsal for the filming of Siren & Blade.

On 1st January we will also have the first of the maps of Celadmore going live so you can see the world whilst you read about it. The maps will only be going live online but there are plans to turn them into posters if we can find a high enough print quality and a large enough poster for the map size (you’ll see our dilemma when the map is up). There will be more maps rolling out during 2015 including city maps as well as maps across the eras and even the family trees for different lines of royalty.

There are three Nicolette Mace blogs going live on the blogspot blog between now and New Years Day. We aren’t sure whether there will be another 12 days of Christmas Reprise posted on Christmas Day as C.S. Woolley is keeping that under wraps but I guess we’ll just have to wait and hope just like everyone else.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from everyone in the offices and our authors!
